Dear Family

Hope everyone is well and had an uplifting Yom Kippur.

Welcome home Rivky with Dovi, Shlomo, Mendel and Nechama, and Mendel and Freida.

BH the house is filling up again, and we are also looking forward to the arrivals soon of Shmuel and then Avi and Penina IYrH.

We also look forward to seeing Pesach and Family and Shmuly and Family on Yom Tov.

And obviously all those who are already at home!

We are now heading into the Yom Tov of Sukkos, and part of Sukkos is that we have to live in a Sukkah (a temporary hut) for 7 days.

And so how do we build this Sukkah?

It is interesting to see how the Hebrew word SUKKAH itself gives us a very good idea and instruction.

The Halacha is that the Sukkah has to have a minimum of 2.5 walls.

It can also have 3 or 4 walls

םכה

If you look at the Hebrew letter you will see

1. The heh has 2.5 walls.

2. The chof has 3 walls

3. The samech has 4 walls

Ie ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BUILD THE SUKKAH IN ONE WORD!

And then the schach goes on top.

Wishing everyone a Gut Shabbos and a very Happy Sukkos

Reminder to look at Rambam 5 minutes per week
