CHASSIDIC MELODY

Dear Family,

I hope everyone is well.

Pesach and Chanie are having a kiddush this Shabbos BEH, in honour of the birth of Leora. Mazal Tov again, and wishing you many simchos.

Mazal Tov to Shmuel Levy on the Barmitzvah of his nephew in Miama. Hope you had a wonderful trip and simcha together with Rivky.

This coming Shabbos is mevorechim Shvat, when Mommy and I got engaged, and also Penina and Avi. Mazal Tov.

Today (chof dalet Teves) is the yohrtzeit of the Alter Rebbe, the founder of the Chabad Chassidic movement.

Today's Hayom Yom says that 'Chassidus is to bring life and illumination into everything, to shed light even on the undesirable - to become aware of one's own evil exactly as it is, in order to correct it.'

This week I came across some interesting CHASSIDIC MELODIES, and I thought it would be nice to share these, and take a 'break' from the intellectual.

It reminded me of another Hayom Yom (22nd Tammuz) which said:

' A chassidic vort makes the head clear and the heart clean.

A chassidic virtuous practice fills the home with light.

A CHASSIDIC MELODY FORTIFIES HOPE AND TRUST, BRINGS JOYOUSNESS, AND PLACES THE HOME AND FAMILY IN A STATE OF LIGHT.'
