Dear Family,

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the good weather.

Mazal Tov to Pesach on your upcoming birthday. You should have a year of much success and with joy. It should also be 'meshaneh makom, meshaneh mazal letovah'. Pesach and Family are planning to move to California at end of summer, while retaining his business in London. So we hope to still see lots of you and your Family BEH, and it should all be with success!

Mazal Tov to Pesach Dovid Levy (Dovi) on your upcoming birthday this week. It looks like you also have an exciting year ahead Dovi BEH with a trip to EY and passing through London! Have a happy year Dovi.

Mazal Tov to our latest sweet 'Pesach', Pesach Yeshayeh Vogel on his upcoming birthday next week. Big kisses for a wonderful year.

Mazal Tov to Brian Davidoff who also has a birthday this week. It should be a happy and healthy year Brian. I also want to mention that Brian has just been visiting SA on a 'memory lane trip' where many of our Family's roots started from, and I want to thank him very much for having visited our fathers AH, at the cemetery. Thanks Brian and I hope you had a very inspiring trip!

Mazal Tov to Aron Davidoff who also has a birthday next week. Wishing you success with all your works and interesting pursuits Aron!

Wow, so many celebrations BH! Wishing the whole Family many more.

As we have already mentioned, the 49 days of sefira is a period when we are refining our character traits.

So here is a little exercise.

Try and guess who is being spoken about with the following personality:

1. He works quietly, without others knowing
2. He is ready to place himself in danger
3. The smallest detail is of great importance to him
4. He labours with great toil
5. He labours with alacrity
6. He is confident and optimistic
7. If he does not succeed the first time, he tries again and again.

Is it obvious?

These are the characteristics of a thief!

In the Hayom Yom of 3rd Iyar this week, the Rebbe points out how it is possible to use all character traits for the service of Hashem.

He brings the example of how Rabbi Meshulum Zusya of Anipoli borrowed or learnt all the above qualities from a thief, and applied them to his service of Hashem.

The lesson for us is, that if we identify bad, or even evil traits within our nature, we can redirect them to do good.

Gut Shabbos to all!
