Dear Family,

I hope everyone is well.

This week I have a very short and powerful Dvar Torah, and I would like also to introduce how to use the Rambam Study Schedule.

Dvar Torah

I saw this in 'Here's My Story' of this week.

This person was asking the Rebbe about how he could lead his life in a more joyful way.

He told the Rebbe that he wasn't a 'happy go lucky' type, and what made it even harder, was that he was never satisfied with his accomplishments.

The Rebbe answered simply, 'When you find yourself being unhappy, remind yourself that you are just a little creature, to whom the Creator gave the ability and the privilege, to connect to Him via the Mitzvot of the Torah.'

The person stated that 'Until today, whenever I am not happy, I think about the Rebbe's words, and that changes my attitude.'

Rambam

BH there are many people starting to learn Rambam, some who are looking at this for the first time.

Uncle Chanan made a very important observation, in that he wanted to learn Rambam with the Daily Study Schedule which is being learned world-wide, and he quite rightly, could not understand the Hebrew, abbreviations etc, to be able to locate the current chapters being learnt.

So Batsheva got to work straight away, and is in the process of making a Table in English, with the English date as well as the Hebrew, showing exactly which pages in our new Rambam series, are the current ones.

This can be seen for both the Comprehensive Summary, and the Concise Summary, and it also reflects both the 3-chapters- a- day cycle, and the 1-chapter-a-day.

Besides making this available for our Group, we will also post this on our website for the use of everyone. Hopefully this will go up soon.

Chanan also suggested a blog, whereby people generally could discuss the current Rambam, and we are working on this also BH.
