In relation to Shavuos, the giving of Torah, Dovid Hamelech and the Baal Shem Tov:
Tehillim 19-11: 'Torah and Mitzvos are sweeter than honey and the honeycomb.'
Torah is likened to nourishing milk (chalav)
The numerical value of chalav is 40, which is the number of days Mosheh spent on Har Sinai when receiving the Torah.
The Baal Shem Tov (1698- 1760) revealed the hidden levels of Torah, in preparation for the revelation of Mashiach ben David.
