HUMILITY
Shabbos 2022-04-16 is Pesach (no weekly parsha in the diaspora); filed under Yom Tov.
Dear Family,
I hope everyone is well and getting ready for Pesach.
And wishing all those who are travelling, safe and happy journeys.
Mazal Tov to Shmuly and Devorah Leah on the birth and naming of their new daughter Nechama Dina! Beautiful news BH! Wishing the whole Family continued growth and development in all areas, gashmius and ruchnius, and with much joy!
Mazal Tov to Shlomo on his upcoming birthday on the second Seder night. Wishing you a year of much growth Shlomo, and success in your studies, sport, and many other areas, with much joy!
Also on second nifght Seder is the yohrtzeit of Aunty Girlie who we were all very fond of. Her neshamah should have an Aliyah, and wishing all of her Family only good. That reminds me of a beautiful picture I saw last week of Kerry Lee and her family! Wishing all much nachas!
Mazal Tov to Ariel, whose birthday is next week on chol hamoed Pesach, and we are so happy to have him here with us, together with Baty and Talya and Sarita, all the way from Australia BH! Have a wonderful year Ariel and keep growing nicely as you are now BH!
Mazal Tov to Brian, whose birthday is also upcoming next week. Wishing you a year of good health and wealth, and with much joy, Brian!
The MATZAH of Pesach represents, among other things, HUMILITY.
It is flat, small and simple, with no airs, as opposed to bread, which rises considerably.
In this context, I saw a beautiful short Dvar Torah on HUMILITY from the Baal Shem Tov (Keter Shem Tov paragraph 85) as follows:
"Your beginning shall be small, but your end shall increase exceedingly - Iyov 8:7
A Humble beginning is a catalyst, a solid foundation for great success in the end."
Wishing everyone a wonderful Shabbos, and a Kosher and Happy Pesach!
Love to all.
