Dear Family,

I hope that everyone is well, and that Shavuos was beautiful for all.

Wishing a refuah shleimah for yechezkiel ben Ester

Mazal Tov to Tracy Pollock on her upcoming birthday. I hope all is going well with you and your Family Tracy, and wishing you a wonderful year!

Mazal Tov to Esther Miriam on her birthday tonight. It was such a nice kiddush on Shavuos for your birthday. Wishing you continued beautiful achievements in both gashmius and ruchnius, giving your parents much nachas BEH!

And also tomorrow is the Yohrtzeit of Meme, Rahel's mother ah. The kiddush on Shavuos was also in her honour, kindly sponsored by Shmuly and Devorah Leah. Meme is kindly remembered by all of us, and we wish her neshamah to have an Aliyah.

I saw an interesting short DvarTorah in yesterday's Hayom Yom (8th of Sivan), based on a pasuk from Shlomo Hamelech's Shir Hashirim, where the world is described as ginat egoz (a garden of nuts) - 6:11

The Hebrew word ginat has the dual meaning of 'garden', and 'meeting place.'

And the Hebrew word egoz has the numerical equivalent of the Hebrew word cheit meaning 'sin'.

This is explained as follows:

The physical Universe is a mixture.

It is a meeting place where G-d meets together (as it were) with man, the select of all creatures.

Yet it is also a garden of nuts where there is the potential for sin.

Hashem gives man FREE CHOICE, the capacity to choose freely, that man may choose for him or her - self a path in life.

Gut Shabbos to all
