Dear Family,

I hope that everyone is well.

Refuah shleimah to Yechezkiel ben Ester.

Mazal Tov to Mommy/Rahel whose birthday is on Shabbos. Wishing you, my wonderful wife, a wonderful year with much joy, many simchos, good health, lots of nachas from all the children and grandchildren, and continued achievements in all the good work that you do, in both gashmius and ruchnius BEH!

Mazal Tov to Penina on her birthday at the end of next week. Wishing you a year of much achievement for you and Avi, Penina, in both gashmius and ruchnius, with much joy. Continue with all the good work that you and Avi are doing together BEH!

Mazal Tov to Elisha on his birthday next week. Keep giving your parents and all of us much nachas Elisha, and wishing you a happy year!

I saw an interesting short note this week which caught my attention and which I would like to share (A Chassidisher Derher - Sichos Kodesh 5739 Vol 2 p316)

The verse in Iyov teaches us "THAT MAN IS BORN TO TOIL"

For a person to remain mentally and emotionally healthy, he must labour, and feel a sense of work and accomplishment.

The Gemorra tells us about the porters of Mechoza, that when they were unable to do their work of carrying loads, they became ill

The same is true for all of us.

Hashem created us in such a way, that to be emotionally well, we must be engaged in productive activity.

Gut Shabbos to all
