Dear Family,

I hope that everyone is well.

Today is the yohrtzeit of Uncle Morris ah, and we wish long life to all the members of his Family in this group – Shirley, Zelda, Greta and all their Families. I remember Uncle Morris so clearly - his beautiful blue eyes which always had a little sparkle, and he always found something to speak to us about. His neshamah should have an aliyah!

And this coming week is also Zelda’s birthday. Mazal Tov Zelda. I saw a nice picture of you Baty and Sarita BH. I hope that you are well, and wishing you a wonderful year!

Mazal Tov to Chaya Musia Davidoff. Wishing you a very successful and happy year Mussia, bringing your parents much nachas BEH!

Elul is the month of teshuvah and I found 2 short related 'gems' which I would like to share:

· Rabbi Yasa said: The Holy One Blessed be He says to Israel, “My children, open for Me an opening of teshuvah the size of the eye of a needle, and I will open for you an entrance wide enough for wagons and carriages to pass through.” (Song of Songs 5:2 – Shir Hashirim Rabbah)

· Teshuvah consists of

o Correcting and putting one’s present in order

o Regretting the past

o Making good resolutions for the future

*The key however is the present.*

When the present is properly ordered, one can fill what was lacking or wrong in the past, and build fences and safeguards for the future (The Rebbe)

Gut Shabbos and wishing a kesivah vechasimah tovah to all, for a Good and Sweet New Year!
