Studying Rambam
A Companion Volume to the Mishneh Torah
By Dr Baruch Davidoff · Rambam Press · 14 volumes
Studying Rambam is a series in English on the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah by Dr Baruch Davidoff, with Rabbi Shabsi Tayar named alongside him on the Comprehensive Summary, published by Rambam Press between 2018 and 2020. It looks at the Mishneh Torah from several angles: the eight-volume Comprehensive Summary works through each of its 1000 chapters with the original Hebrew text; the Concise Summary covers the same 1000 chapters briefly in one volume; Key Facts steps back to the 83 sets of Laws; the Index lists over 8,000 terms; and three volumes of Tables and Outlines gather the tables used throughout. All are large-format hardcovers (8.5 × 11 inches).
The Comprehensive Summary
Eight volumes, following the 14 books of the Mishneh Torah in order. Each chapter is summarised in full, with the Rambam’s original Hebrew text, tables and diagrams, icons marking the 613 Scriptural Commands, and QR codes linking to “Reminders”. See them at Rambam Press.
