Dear Family,

Hope everyone is well.

This time of year, at the end of Sivan, always has this feeling of BITTER-SWEET.

The 1st of Tammuz is Mommy and I Anniversary, and then the 3rd of Tammuz is Daddy's Yohrtzeit (Pesach ben Breina AH)

The 3rd of Tammuz is also the Rebbe's Yohrtzeit. And the Yohrtzeit of Shmueli Bassin's grandfather AH.

And then there are many other events around this ie Today is when the Rebbe and his wife arrived in New York. Today is also the wedding Anniversary of Pesach and Chanie, and the birthday of Menachem Mendel Davidoff. We have just come back from celebrating his opsher (first haircut at 3 years old)

And this is the time when all our studious members of the Family are finishing exams and celebrating.

So Mazal Tov to Pesach and Chanie.

Mazal Tov to Menachem Mendel. The opsher celebration was beautiful BH.

Mazal Tov to Hirshy on getting excellent results for his 'pre-requisites' to do Nursing. Good luck for your application to Nursing School in August! Well done Hirshy.

Mazal Tov to Chava who has just finished her Seminary year in New York, and is now travelling to SA to be a Leader at their Winter Camps, and preparing to do Mathematics next year BEH.

I hope to post more results as they come through, and let's hear also results from others who are studying!

This week's Sedra Korach also has an element of Bitter- Sweet.

It is always sad when there is rebellion and fighting and friction between people, and in this week's Sedra, Korach and a group of his followers incites a rebellion against Mosheh Rabeinu. Mosheh tries patiently many peaceful moves to avert the rebellion but all warnings are ignored, and as predicted by Mosheh Hashem opens up the earth where they were swallowed up alive.

So what is the SWEET side to this story?

I saw a Hayom Yom this week from the Rebbe that there was a blessing contained in 'They went down to the pit alive'

They did Teshuvah. For Teshuvah can only be effective while one is alive. This then was the blessing, that even in the pit they will live, and will be able to do Teshuvah.

And I did have a real LOL this week.

For those who find reading long articles and books difficult, you will surely find this Book easy to read.

Please see attached - the book only costs $7.99 and can be purchased on Amazon. It is currently one of Amazons best sellers!

By the way I don't think that this book is a joke. I think it has been brilliantly researched!

Wishing everyone a Gut Shabbos and the ability to see how even the bitter parts of our life, are also sweet (and a laugh can help).
