BH so many big simchos coming up, and all within the radiance of LAG BAOMER, such a special day in the year!

Lag Baomer is the yohrtzeit and yom hilula of the revered, second century Sage, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, who is buried in the mountains of Meron, and which takes place next Wednesday night and Thursday.

Hundreds of thousands of people from Israel and all over the world will be heading for Meron to celebrate all night at his resting place, and there will be celebrations at the same time all over the world.

He was, amongst other achievements, the author of the Zohar, the foundation text of the Kabalah.

Hours before his passing in approximately 160 CE, he informed his students that his soul was soon going to leave it's body and celebrate with it's Maker.

As such he requested, that instead of being saddened, his students should mark this day with great joy and holy rejoicing.

At that time the kedushah of Rebbi Shimon was so intense that none of the Talmidim were able to gaze upon him, and throughout the day a fire surrounded the house, keeping everyone else at an awed distance......

Lag Baomer is marked with festive music, dancing, studying the mystical teachings, praying, lighting bonfires (representing the light of Torah which Rebbi Shimon brought into the world), and dozens of simultaneous events taking place at the same time.

And one of these events this year is BEH the wedding of Dani and Ariel! What a day to be celebrating such a happy event!

We all wish you to build an everlasting home together with much love and joy! And wishing Mazal Tov also to Chanan and Naomi. One simchah should lead to many more for the rest of the Family!

And at the same time BEH, Zeevi will be celebrating his opsherin in California!

Rebbi Shimon is celebrating together with us every year, and we should see the geulah soon!

Gut Shabbos to all
