Dear Family,

I hope everyone is well.

Renee Cobb is struggling with a difficult health issue. Could we all say Tehillim or keep her in our prayers - Rivkah bas Sarah Zlata should have a refuah shleimah!

We have a few Anniversary celebrations this week:

Mazal Tov to Chanan and Naomi. Wishing you many more happy and healthy years together, and continued wedding celebrations.

Mazal Tov to Hirshy and Mariasha. Wishing you continued growth and development with much nachas from your children, and with joy.

Mazal Tov to Mendel and Freida. Wishing you much nachas together from your growing Family and much new development BEH.

And Mazal Tov to Zalmy on his upcoming birthday. Zalmy has been accepted into a Law School in LA to continue his studies BEH. Well done Zalmy for this wonderful achievement, and wishing you a year with much success, achievement and happiness.

And featuring a member of the Family this week which came to my attention, is Binyamin Mordechai Davidoff, who achieved 110% for his Chumash Test!

Well done Binyomin, and well done Shmuly and Devorah Leah with your chinuch efforts! This is very much in line with our email theme this week of hard work.

In this weeks Sedra Behaalosecha (12:3) it says that 'the man Mosheh was very humble, more so than any man on the face of the earth.'

The Alte Rebbe, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, explained that Mosheh felt humble, especially in seeing himself in comparison to our generation, the last generation before Mashiach (he saw this with his vision of prophecy).

Because despite the extreme darkness that would reign immediately preceding the Final Redemption, Mosheh Rabeinu foresaw and was humbled by the self-sacrifice that our generation would show, to keep the Jewish faith alive, even in the most difficult circumstances. (The Rebbe Purim 5747)

And in this week's Pirkei Avos Chap 2 Mishna 15:

'R Tarfon said: The day is short, the work is vast, the workmen are lazy, the reward is great, and the Master is pressing.'

Wishing all a Gut Shabbos
