Dear Family,

I hope everyone is well.

Mazal Tov to Sharon Davidoff (Brian's wife) who has an upcoming birthday next week. Wishing you a year of good health and happiness with much nachas from your whole Family. It was so nice meeting up again with you and Brian at Gavriel's Barmitzvah.

We wish long life to Devorah Leah and the Goodman Family on the loss of a very young niece. Wishing you only good news in the futureBEH

I would like to share one important and simple lesson I learnt from this week's Sedra Vaeira.

In V19, Chap 7, Hashem says to Mosheh to tell Aharon to take his staff and raise his hand over the Egyptian waters, over their rivers, their canals, their ponds etc ....and they will become blood...And Aharon lifted the staff and struck the water of the River...

Rashi comments on this and says, that since the River had protected Mosheh when he was cast into it, therefore the River was not struck by Mosheh, not in the plague of blood and not in the plague of the frogs.

Rabbi Gordon in his shiur said that this comes to teach us the tremendous importance of GRATITUDE.

Here we have a river which protected Mosheh 80 years previously, being remembered and recognized, to the degree that Mosheh was not permitted to strike it with his staff!

How much more so, should we never forget the good we have received from others, and always show Gratitude!

Gut Shabbos and Gut Chodesh to all !
