COURAGE AND PRIDE - A BEAUTIFUL STORY

Mazal Tov to Claude on his birthday tomorrow. Wishing you a healthy and happy year Claude with much nachas from your children and grand children!

Mazal Tov to Dov Ber Kehaty on his birthday this coming week. Wishing you a year of much growth and happiness Dov Ber and to give your parents much nachas!

I saw a beautiful video clip this week which I would like to share (see attached below), and it also had a link to Lag Baomer which we just celebrated, and to this week's Parsha Behar/ Bechukosai.

On the Lag Baomer of 1967, at that public parade, (and it is recorded), the Rebbe spoke, and prophesised with complete confidence, a great victory for Israel in the upcoming 6-day war, using the verses in our Sedra of this week, 26:6 to 26:9. Ie "I will grant you peace in the land... You will go to sleep with nothing frightening you...You will pursue your enemies and they will fall before you....

And in todays Torah reading V 26:13 he pointed to the word KOMMIMIUT - UPRIGHT AND WITH PRIDE.

For the older members of our group, I am sure you will remember the fear that gripped our whole Nation just before the war!

Lag Baomer is a time of JEWISH PRIDE, where we openly display this in public, with the many world-wide Public Parades.

This attitude takes much COURAGE.
