Dear Family,

Hope everyone is well.

MAZAL TOV FOR THE UPCOMING WEDDING OF SARA TO AARON GLICK NEXT WEEK! Wishing you much happiness together, and you should build an eternal Jewish home. One simcha should lead to another in your Families, and in our whole extended Family.

Mazal Tov to Pesach and Chanie on their upcoming Anniversary this week. Wishing you to progress from strength to strength with much joy together.

Mazal Tov to Menachem Mendel Davidoff on his birthday next week. We love you Mendel.

And we wish long life to all the Fisher Family on the Yohrtzeit of Naomi's mother Rosalie, in the coming week. We remember her with fond memories, even as far back as visiting at their house in NJ at the time of your wedding, Naomi. You should have only simchos in the future.

Safe trips for all who are travelling!

For the last 2 weeks we have been looking at a number of aspects of education which were generally focusing on our children or ourselves or others, from the OUTSIDE INWARDS. Ie we are instructing and kind of imposing on ourselves and our children.

There is another aspect to education which is from the INSIDE OUTWARDS.

I saw some very interesting views of The Rebbe on this in last weeks 'Mashiach Day by Day'

In Torah we have, opposing each other the strict views of Beis Shamai and the more lenient views of Beis Hilel.

And mostly Torah judges according to the more lenient view of Beis Hilel.

But it is said that in the time of Mashiach we will be going according to Beis Shamai.

In relation to Education, if we impose extreme standards on someone who is lacking the appropriate sensitivity, such as a young child, it is wrong, and the child may feel stifled, and might rebel.

By being sensitive to the child's level, their growth can be real and natural.

And by internalising Torah's Teachings, we change starting from the INSIDE OUTWARDS.

When Mashiach comes, even although our increased Spiritual sensitivity will lead us to be more careful and strict in Torah Law, (according to Beis Shamai), it will also lead us to more flexibility and freedom.

The example given is that one cannot educate children in the use of cars, fire, knives etc because it would be dangerous for them. But when they become mature enough to take all the necessary precautions, then they can safely benefit from these items.

Wishing all a Gut Shabbos, and especially a very Happy one in Boston, followed by a beautiful Chassanah! Mazal Tov!
