Dear Family,

I hope everyone is well.

Mazal Tov to Hirshy and Mariasha on the bris of their new baby, Shlomo Tuvia. Wishing you much nachas from him and from all your wonderful children. It was a beautiful Shabbos and simchah, and I would like to express my appreciation to all the families and individuals, for their hostings and all the care and love which was displayed BH! Thank you.

Wishing everyone only continued simchos!

Despite what is happening in the world this week, it is still Adar, and to continue with the theme of JOY, I saw a humorous but meaningful story:

Reb Simchah Bunim of Pshischa was crossing over a bridge in Danzig, and he saw a man floundering in the waters below.

Seeing no way of saving this Jew, he called out to him, "Send regards to the Livyasan!!" (The Livyasan is a huge fish which is hidden deep in the sea or waters somewhere, and will appear when Mashiach arrives)

At that very moment, Hashem came to the man's aid - he managed to catch onto a plank of wood and save himself.

Reb Simchah Bunim later explained, that due to the man's broken spirit, he could not be helped.

But when I made that humorous comment, he was slightly gladdened, AND WAS ABLE TO SAVE HIMSELF WITH THE POWER OF HIS SIMCHAH. - (Siach Sarfei Kodesh Inyanei Simchah - Part 9)

Wishing everyone a Gut Shabbos and Gut Chodesh with increased joy.
