A STORY "IT TOOK YEARS, AND I AM FINALLY PROUD TO BE JEWISH"
Dear Family,
I hope everyone is well.
There are 2 yohrtzeits this week:
We wish Mommy long life on the yohrtzeit of her sister Simcha ah. Her neshamah should have an Aliyah, and there should be only simchos in the future.
We wish Mendel Kehaty long life on the yohrtzeit of his brother Nadav ah. His neshamah should have an Aliyah, and only simchos for you and your Family , Mendel, in the future.
Then, this week, we celebrated the addition of 2 new American Citizens in our Family BH:
Mazal Tov to Pesach on achieving US citizenship! Michayil el Chayil!
Mazal Tov to Penina on receiving US citizenship! Wishing you many more successes BEH.
Mazal Tov to Chana Lieba whose birthday bordered 2 weeks. So no harm to wish again for a wonderful, happy and healthy Year.
We need to be happy the whole month of Adar, and so, even although Purim has gone by, I thought it would be entertaining to post some photos of the Family activities which came my way - see attached. (apologies for not including everyone, but everyone should feel free to share any other Purim scenes with the group)
Secondly I saw a beautiful and touching story, which I am attaching, and which I understood to be linked to an aspect of this week's Sedra Ki Tissa.
The verse in the Sedra (34:6 and 7) is where Hashem states "I am the Eternal, all-powerful, merciful and kind, slow to anger...preserving (remembering) any kindnesses done before Me until 2000 GENERATIONS...."!
And the attached story shows how one Jewish Family retained it's Jewish link to ITS NEXT GENERATION with 4 words! (And probably with the above help from Hashem)
Gut Shabbos to all!
